Freestanding Ageing Wine Cabinet
The Climadiff CV295 is a large capacity freestanding ageing wine cabinet which is designed for long term storage of wines. This exterior is manufactured from burgundy sheet metal which features a solid door to create complete darkness inside the cabinet and prevent any UV damage and also a lock to keep your wines safe. 2 wheels at the back of the unit allow you to manoeuvre the cabinet easily and a thermometer with electronic display ensures you can keep a close eye on your wines at all times.
A freestanding wine cabinet should have 5-10cm of ventilation space around the sides and rear to ensure there is enough cool air to cool the compressor.
Interior and Capacity
The CV295 has a very high capacity of 294 Bordeaux bottles which is achieved by stacking the bottles on the 4 Premium shelves that are supplied with the unit. to allow easy access to a small collection of your favourite wines. White LED lighting ensures there is enough light inside when the door is open and a charcoal filter ensures no bad odours linger inside the wine cabinet. The inside of the cabinet is manufactured from black sheet metal which helps with humidity regulation.
Efficiency and Winter System
Climadiff’s ageing cabinets are highly energy efficient with the CV295 being rated as A for energy usage and they all feature the winter system which ensures peace of mind when installing in an insulated garage or out building. The winter system features an internal heating element and a much thicker layer of insulation than usual which helps with temperature regulation. The CV295 is suitable for ambient temperatures of between 0 and 32¡ãC and will maintain the internal temperature within +/-2¡ãC which makes these units a great choice for customers looking for a long term storage cabinet.
Differences between CV295 and CV297
Both units are fundamentally identical in terms of components and the way they cool/maintain temperature. the CV295 has the added benefit of the register being printed on the back of the door so you can record the location of your wine – everything else is the same.
Differences between CLA310A+ and CV295
Aesthetically they are similar apart from the colour of the cabinet. the CLA310A+ is Brown vs Burgundy of the CV295.? The CLA310A+ has slightly upgraded internal components which means it is A+ energy rated vs A of the CV295.? The CLA310A+ also comes with 1 sliding shelf. increasing the total number of shelves to 5 vs the 4 of the CV295 – The base model of all three units above is the CV297 so if you do not need the additional features. the entry level unit will suffice!? All are manufactured in Portugal.
