The new TaylorMade Spider X Putters offers a more subtle approach to a mallet head design. The new Spider X is 5% smaller than the previous Spider but manages to keep the same MOI. This has been achieved by incorporating a composite core in the heart of the Spider. weighing at just 15 grams. whilst the excess weight can be positioned around the perimeter of the putter. The iconic Spider wings are slightly smaller than its predecessor. but they now feature adjustable weights – available in 2. 6 or 12 gram weighting options for ultimate feel fine tuning. The Pure Roll insert has been welded by some of the best players in the world. however. the 2019 Spider includes a softer version of the iconic insert which was largely driven by feedback from the PGA Tour.
